As 2023 comes to a close, we have so much to be happy and proud of. From professional growth to personal accomplishments, this year was full of happy memories.
This year, we welcomed 13 new employees to the JT team across our 4 Wisconsin area offices as well as 14 interns!
We had several employees reach milestones with JT as well. We celebrated 5-year milestones, a 10-year milestone, and one retirement!
Many people pursued goals to further develop their careers. From a Professional Engineer License to Engineer-in-Training licenses, a Qualified Roundabout Design Certificate, several Remote Pilot Licenses, and a graduate from the ACEC Leadership Institute, our team is ready to take on any challenge.
2023 also brought a year of great charitable contributions. JT’s involvement in LLS raised over $68,000! We had 7 Bright Lights, each raising over $1000. And Dylan Douglas broke the Wisconsin Chapter record for the Visionary of the Year Campaign, raising over $120,000!
Some incredible projects were worked on by our staff this year. Project highlights include 120th St & 24th Ave in Chippewa County, IH-43 North-South Freeway in Milwaukee County, State Highway 15 in Outagamie County, and State Highway 69 in Dane County, which was also nominated for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Best Rural Design Award.
Other highlights this year include our Eau Claire area office moving to a new location, having a blast at American Family Field, and introducing the JT Command Center at UW-Madison football games!
Thank you to everyone who made 2023 such an incredible year! Watch the video to see more details about the highlights throughout the year.
Wishing everyone a happy new year!
