Brad is the Southwest Design Manager based in the Madison area office. He joined our team in 2011 and is experienced in transportation engineering and project management. This experience includes designing a wide variety of highway projects throughout the southwest part of the state. Brad is a WisDOT Level 2 Roundabout Designer and has delivered dozens of roundabout designs throughout the state, ranging in complexity from compact single-lane roundabouts to large multi-lane roundabouts with multiple bypass lanes. Brad also takes on the role of mentoring several young staff members in WisDOT’s Southwest Region – Madison office. He finds joy in working directly with these engineers, helping them expand and refine their skills in roadway design, roundabout design, Civil 3D, and leadership. With his guidance and encouragement, the future of transportation engineering is undoubtedly in safe and capable hands.

Brad recently started competing in regional and national Karate tournaments alongside his daughter. He earned his first-degree Black Belt in Karate in December 2021, and he will be testing for his second-degree Black Belt in the summer of 2024.
